Dear partner,

We are pleased to announce the launching of our international “UPF Barcelona Summer School”.
  • The School is part of the regular academic offer of UPF (for-credit) and creates a truly international environment in Barcelona, as it is open to local and international students alike.
  • Students from our partner universities will be especially welcomed to follow the innovative and hands-on courses in the field of Humanities, Economics and Business, Political Science and Communication Studies that are not available during the academic year. Registration to these courses, taught either in Spanish or English, can be supplemented with the study of Spanish language at different levels.
  • Please find more information and feel free to disseminate the website:www.upf.edu/barcelonasummerschool/

We are also glad that this Summer School is part of a wider initiative co-organized by Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the University of California-Los Angeles under the “Global Cities” programme.
  • The full-time summer programme (from June 23 to September 12) allows students to combine the UPF Barcelona Summer School with a module of six weeks at UCLA, thus exploring the core areas of expertise of the hosting institutions, by building on the creativity, the industries and the social, political and cultural background of the host cities: Barcelona and Los Angeles.
  • Honoring our partnership, special fees have been established for students from your institution.
  • All information available at: www.upf.edu/internationalsummerschool

All in all, we invite you to share this information with your most outstanding students so that they can participate in any of these challenging academic and personal opportunities. Applications will be accepted until May 30, 2014.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at barcelonasummerschool@upf.edu, should you have any questions about these exciting new opportunities.

Best regards,
