The Ministry of Interior is the central authority in charge of the Wetland Conservation Act. The Jiading wetland is temporarily categorized as locally important wetland which is under planning by the Kaohsiung City Government. Since the Council of Agriculture (COA) is responsible for the Wildlife Conservation Act, we are striving to monitor the progress of black-faced spoonbill conservation work. The COA respects NGOs’ determination to actively promote the designation of Jiading as important wetland.
