  makes for interesting reading given that it is the first race behind the I
 ron Curtain.  Built in the mid 80's it has often been slated as being as &q
 uot\;pedestrian Grand Prix&quot\; due to the slowness of the circuit.  Even
  with the removal of the esses in 89 it is still a slow old track\, second 
 only to Monaco. Consequently you shouldn't expect too much action in terms 
 of overtaking (exceptions have been Ralph Schumacher who stormed from last 
 to fourth in 2003) And there is a fair likelihood that the pole sitter afte
 r qualifying will be running on vapours to make sure they out at the front.
