In discussion on this and other boards, a common theme that came up was that so many LIS episodes had really solid, intriguing stories behind them, but somewhere between the concept and the little screen . . . something happened. I decided to try my hand at imagining what some episodes might have been like. These are not simple script edits. These are completely new re-imaginings of the stories told. They are written as short stories, not as scripts, and particularly not as scripts for a 1960s TV program. I am trying to tell serious stories for grownups here, without departing from the overall feel and sense of what Lost In Space was, or might have been. Yes, there are light touches, in which Dr. Smith features, but I try to both pull back from his buffoonery and make him more of the really nasty villain. As I write, I have completed the second Adventure in what I hope will be a substantial and well-received series. I hope you enjoy these, and your feedback and opinions are welcome.
